OpenArray^TM panels

Individual SNPs

Taqman^TM probes: each Taqman assay consists of two primers specific to the sequence containing the polymorphism and two Taqman probes (MGB) with non-fluorescent suppressors (NFQ) each specific for one of the two SNP alleles.

PACE^TM assays: The PACE assay is based on a competitive allele-specific PCR containing two allele-specific primers and a third common primer.

Genotyping by Sequencing

Technology that allows a higher number of SNPs to be genotyped at the same time and allows the discovery of new polymorphisms in the sequenced regions.
